aarrgghh

just as the Olympics season has started, and now as the dawn of the BPL is upon us, my Panasonic 29" Flat Screen TV decided to do the unthinkable..... it shorted! damn it... was watching telly last night, and suddenly the pics had lines across it like someone set off a EMP next to it....... then if got ok.... but alas, it was a false sense of relief. 15 minutes later, the EMP went off again.. only this time.. the picture was reduced to a condensed image about 2 cm thick... and then poof!! it was gone.... and there was a smell of some electrical component getting shorted..... u know the one i'm talking about... it's as if a lizard or cockroach decided to take a walk thru your main circuit board and then ZAP!!... ...... what will i do.... being 4 years old, whatever warranty i had should have been as expired as the food in the office fridge!

all signs pointed to the obvious... time to get a LCD or plasma hahahah.. but then reality hit home. my voice of reasoning (my wife) suggested we call up Panasonic to see if they could fix/service/repair/crush the LCD dreams the tv first... (hehe kidding hon). So i called em up, and they'll be sending someone over tomrrow to investigate the fault.

Hope i can have it up and running soon. Fingers crossed.
